LOLLY

Sitting at a table, surrounded by the finest men to walk this planet, is a treat. Having the devoted attention and clear regard of all three rises to the level of nirvana. Now, to talk them around to my idea of a fling between the lot of us. I don’t expect an orgy. They are, after all, related to one another. But lying in bed last night, the memory of the photo I sent them made me wonder whether the attraction they make so clear is enough to convince them to embrace something so filthy and unconventional?.

We eat and chat, trading stories about growing up, traveling, exploring as we swap bites of food from one another’s plates. It doesn’t go unnoticed that the men have made sure I sample a little bit of everything. Their attention to details about me, especially my interest in culinary expression and flavors, is as arousing as anything I’ve ever experienced.

“Lolly…” Micah’s face has a strange pinch to it, and I fight a smile. Every moment I’ve spent in this man’s company, he’s appeared to be confident and dominant. Yet here he sits, stalling and stammering.

“Micah…” It’s terrible to tease, but Rylan chuckles softly beside me while Asa’s palm sneaks under the tablecloth to squeeze my knee. They’re enjoying seeing the mighty Micah unnerved just as much as I am.

“I’m sure there’s a suitably impressive way to broach such a subject, but I can’t think of exactly how, so I’m just going to lay the cards on the table and hope you’ll listen and not take offense.”

I’m tingling from my fingertips to my toes and everywhere in between. My certainty about what he’s going to suggest is absolute. There’s no other reason for all three of them to be here on this date, unless their thoughts are on the same page as mine. His next words confirm it. Wait. What?

“Lolly, Rylan, Asa and I, we’re all extraordinarily attracted to you. That’s an understatement, but a start. All three of us took one look at you and felt something deep and intense, and the more we’ve gotten to know you and even with such a small bit of time spent together, our feelings have only grown.”

Asa’s hand flexes where he’s gripping my leg, his fingers gentling immediately and beginning to stroke back and forth over the bare skin of my thigh. Rylan slides his hand over mine on the tabletop, his thumb sweeping along the sensitive skin of my inner wrist. My eyes stay glued to Micah’s, the intensity in his gaze lessened only by the weight of arousal blowing out his pupils.

“We want to date you. All of us.” The word choice and emphasis Micah places on we and us causes both Rylan and Asa’s fingers to flex around where they’re holding on to me. Wordlessly, they show their agreement.

Time stretches second to second, the stillness at our table as palpable as the clang of silverware on plates, conversation, and dinner service hustling everywhere else in the room.
